Urdhva Mukha Svanasana
The upward facing dog pose, Urdhva Mukha Svanasana, is a strong back bend where the body rests on the hands and feet. It develops strong legs and arms, and also teaches us the preliminary requirements of opening the chest and safely bending backwards. It is a demanding, but exhilarating pose.
Health is the delicate balance in the harmony of the body, mind and spirit where physical disabilities and mental distractions have vanished.
